A little bit late with the news about our winner, but better late than never! Congratulations to the Kelly Scott team for a well played and very entertaining championship final win. Good on Stefanie Lawton and her team for bringing it down to the wire - no small feat to come back when you are down four, but you gals made a great game of it!

Tim Horton's / Reddick vs Porritt 9th end O/T

Well, ninth end with Reddick with the hammer.

First rock...center guard just outside the house...great shot

Reddick....great shot to tap the guard to the outside back 12

Porritt...draw to center guard

Reddick...attempting the tap back on their guard...clears both red out of the house.

Porritt....sets very high guard center line

Reddick....peels high guard..

Porritt....sets high guard again center line.

Reddick....(oh the tension....) peels center guard...just missed the double takeout.

Porritt... one more time...set the center guard high

Reddick....peels the guard and again just missing the double.

Porritt...time to draw into the house...this is a huge shot if it works....top 8 foot but totally open.

Reddick...peels the top guard but missed the double...yellow has 2 in house

Porritt...draw to guard 8 feet from house.....not guarding existing rock but sure messes up the draw we all know is coming.

Reddick...OK...lots of discussion about the "plan de jour"....what will it be? Peel the center guard is....is.....is...a partial success...jambed on the yellow rock in the 12 foot.

Porritt...last rock...taps back front rock so....here we go...last rock...last end.

Reddick....needs to draw into the button with the yellow rock as backing....wow...great shot...game over...Reddick wins...crowd goes.......home.

Thanks for tuning in....it has been a slice.

Tim Horton's / Reddick vs Porritt 8th end

OK sports fans...I'm back.

Reddick first rock...center guard top 12

Porritt...corner guard just heavy into the 12 foot

Reddick..take out on corner rock...nose hit and biting.

Porritt...drawing for corner guard right side just short of house.

Reddick...looking for peel on yellow corner guard....well done..rolls out clean of house

Porritt...re-establishes corner guard but still 4 feet from house.

Reddick...peel on guard...taps own rock slightly into 12 foot. still counting 2

Porritt...corner guard 6 feet from house. Hoping peel attempt will clear one red.

Reddick...peel misses....crowd goes nuts...game on.

Porritt...draws into back 2/4 foot..looks exposed to me.

Reddick...looking to tap yellow out of house....here we go....holy cow...just missed the guard and got the tap back...crowd now even more nuts.

Porritt..racks off guard leaves opening for center...will the Reddick be able to guard...stay tuned

Reddick....contemplating the guard or more accurately, the exact placement required....Oh Oh...may be second guessing herself....(always a bad idea)...looks too close to center line to fully protect the shot rock.

Man is this exciting....

Porritt....wow...great shot to tap out red rock...yellow counts one.

PS> crowd really nuts now.

Reddick....looking for draw/tap and roll to bury....will it happen? racks off guard but not shot...close but no shot.

Porritt...last shot....here we go... lots of discussion about the shot i would reccommend but nobody ever asks me....OK....looks like a draw / tap to count 2 and win this sucker....and the winner is.......one yellow. Folks we are going into overtime...

Reddick playing hit on top Porritt stone, jams it on Porritt's stone on top four and sends it into the 8 foot. Porritt still shot, but house is now wide open with no guards

Porritt playing to hit her own stone on the button back onto the Reddick stone, makes it great to sit three

sorry I'm not witty like the other guy who did the last two ends...

Reddick playing double, hits top rock, rolls between other two rocks...Porritt sits on the button and one rock on the edge of 8, Reddick also has rock at back 8, not sure who is shot between those two

Reddick...Skips first rock...replaces peeled guard on center line.

Porritt...ticks off guard...(guard not happy)...taps own rock ahead but not enough for counting 2

Reddick...last rock....great guard to stop any potential raise...now what?
